Yeah, Now I'm certainly leaning in that direction as well, but I had been hoping that River was a Silent or at least closely connected with the Silence. It was my favorite theory as to her identity because it would explain so much. Now I have *no* idea as to, as Octavian says, "who and what [she is]". I'm also still trying to figure out if "Silence will fall" is a bad or a good thing for the Silents. So much to ponder!

See, I rather assume that River's name being *Song* is relevant. Song =/= Silence, yes?

That said, if Moff wants to overturn everything and SCREW MY BRAIN OVER, I'm ok with that too =D

I definitely think the name is significant, but I haven't quite figured out if that means that River couldn't be both song and silence (Abigail's song is really what makes me think this), but your way makes sense as well. (Though, remember, River's introductory episode? How spiffy would it be if the answer to the two big mysteries of season 5/6 are both answered in a title in season 4?)

Your comment might actually happen! Apparently someone got their hands on a call sheet that mentioned a silent on the ceiling (if I remember correctly). :)
