Look, someone made a Joy Day! (click banner for info):

Oh, I know this is beyond old news, but . . . OTTERS HOLDING HANDS!  <3

The Great Books Curriculum at St. John's College: The mere fact that this program exists fills me with fantastic glee.  It's like they offer a degree in thinking.

TIM GUNN.  I want to be Tim Gunn when I grow up.  Let's make fun of him!  (These are probably a lot funnier if you've watched a fair amount of Project Runway.)

What happened to Andre?  (Greatest PR moment ever?  Greatest PR moment ever.):

Tim Gunn is Tired of Your Bullshit from Project Rungay.

The National Park Service:  The National Park Service is the best thing the American government has ever done.  When Doctor Who comes back in the spring, I just want all y'all Brits to know something: that was the ugly part of Utah.

(Photos of Capitol Reef National Park, Utah.  Oh, and because my photos are actually fairly crappy: Google Image results.)

In a similar vein: that Discovery Channel commercial set to "Boom De Ya Da":

And the XKCD comic it inspired:
loves the discovery channel

No Kneed Bread: Have you ever wanted to be magic?  This is your chance.  If I tried to tell you how easy and amazing this is, you would accuse me of lying.  Joy smells like baking bread:

Book: Everything Bad is Good for You: How Today's Popular Culture is Actually Making Us Smarter, by Steven Johnson: Does what it says on the tin.  Read and gloat.

KERMIT!  <33333  Kermit is the best, y'all, and you can just leave your cynicism somewhere else.

No knead bread sounds awesome. I mean there's a lot of joy in that there post (yay!) but for some reason the bread just calls to me.

*drools and runs away to get/make some fresh bread*
