I didn't figure as such. I barely think about it anymore and then I saw they were making a show and had this giant rush of nostalgia. Well, through LJ/DW I am aware that it is A THING. Am glad it is a good thing.
Also Mary Anne's dad is Shawn from the Good Place and I'm sitting here waiting for him to declare himself a nasty bitch. I first came across the actor of Brooklyn 99 (he's Capt Holt's husband) and... I could see that working.
