I was a tomboy so, unsurprisingly, my favorite character was Kristy. I liked Stacey and Claudia a lot but I didn't identify with them at all as I was an unfashionable nerd.
I spent maybe 5% of my life at that age reading BSC books? It would've been higher but my mom called BSC & Sweet Valley & Saddle Club "brain candy" and limited me to one per book-buying trip.
Fun fact: my friend Cam and I wrote the first draft of the first book of a series called Computer Club which was explicitly modeled after Baby Sitters Club only instead of babysitting they did stuff with computers.
