OMG, you're probably right actually!!! I hadn't realized :O And ah, you'll get around to them! Put it this way, you're actually doing it right as far as I'm concerned: you'll enjoy the first boxset of her series a lot more if you're already familiar with Eight, even though his bits aren't that extensive—and same with the next Doctors. Big Finish just brought all eras SO MUCH. It dug so deep into all characters and made so much of the material, even the very earliest companions whose treatment wasn't always so wonderful. It's really worth delving into it all.
(Plus, you're not the worst or weirdest fan by far—I've had series 3 since it came out and I still haven't listened to it, due to some strange reasoning that is mostly related to the compulsion to listen to ranges in order :O as well as hoarding it to enjoy "on a long/tough day", which is hilarious given the amount of stressful days I've had in the meantime…)
