Well, the place I see River in Knock Knock is in a bit of a Library allusion: the woman preserved in the tower, surrounded by the 'forest' and swarms of invisible flesh-eating monsters.
It's also basically the only place in her timeline that the Doctor can be faulted in this with respect to River, given how instinctually she refuses his help or protection much of the time.
