Hmmm. Importing the comments themselves takes quite some time (and a lot
more time right now because of the volume of imports). Those comments come
over after your entries are done importing. But once that's done I've never
heard of claiming your open ID involving any delays.
Still, patience is probably the word of the day with any of these processes
right now.
