Hmmm, interesting. I'd been wondering for awhile if the Silence might in fact just be trying to keep astronaut girl safe to the best of their abilities, possibly from Eyepatch Lady or possibly from the Doctor (who has been referred to as "spaceman" in the past). Which would dovetail nicely with your theory here.
