Summary: Some people do love easily and naturally, but for others it is both a miracle and a calamity.
AN: I've been trying to pin River down all season, speculating, analyzing, writing around the edges of her. But I think I've finally got it. Sometimes our greatest strengths really do grow out of our greatest vulnerabilities. I don't see this as a dark story, myself, but others might.
