I see the similarities in them, certainly, and they're both head and shoulders above any of the rest of them, but . . . Michelle Gomez is so amazing. She's just so effortlessly weird. So completely extra. She's fascinating to watch every moment she's on the screen, and then Moff went and gave her an actual emotional arc. There's no competing with that.

Delgado just did a really good job of playing what might otherwise have been a stock character.
