I've been pondering this, and basically I'm the person who loves S6 of Buffy... Gimme stuff that's difficult and painful (and more often than not massively problematic) and I'm there.

(Which might also explain my reaction to S11? I have all the goodwill in the world towards Thirteen, but there's so very little there. 'Nice' is not a selling point for me.)
