I left work early (since I worked over the weekend) all excited to go lay around in my pajamas and take a nap and watch tv and all that good stuff. Took my phone out of my pocket as I walked out the door and the entire screen is spider-webbed. Now I am trying to decipher the fine print on carrier websites instead.
It does still work, though the breakage is extensive enough that putting off a replacement is definitely not a good idea unless you want glass shards in your thumb.
(Also I have an old phone sitting around which also has a broken screen, though it is less broken than this one, so I could switch to that for a bit).
The problem is more mental. It's not like doing one's taxes or other nonsense that is easy to ignore. I know too much about phones. My brain is going to worry at it until I do something about it.
I think I've come up with my plan. (It would not be so bad if I just needed to get a new phone, but the carrier I was on you can only use certain models, which I would not be able to get for three weeks . . . so I'm switching carriers too, hence the annoyance. Stupid carriers, ruining perfectly good technology.)

Although does it still work? If so, I guess it's less immediately urgent...
(I want you to have your rest!)

Also, like a proper Ne user, I live in a perpetual state of the grass is always greener, so time for something new, natch.

It's always nice to have an excuse to buy new things.

Though I'm going to miss Google knowing everywhere I go and everything I do. Cause that's damn useful.
