I find Fringe and OUAT both to be really good supplements to Moff Who? Especially for coping with unresolved Pond Family feelings. Because they both cover the same kind of themes and territory as DW but, since they're both American shows, they have so much more time to do it in. You'll be watching some scene from one of them and they'll be unpacking something that you really, really wanted Moff to get into but he only ever alluded to it.
Right now OUAT is doing all kinds of fabulous 'you're my long-lost daughter/parents and I desperately want to be with you but I don't know how to deal with the things that we're never going to get back . . .' stuff. At any rate, watching Fringe and OUAT is kind of my DW therapy. Your mileage may vary.
