Perhaps I shall have to put together a recs post of my own. *encourages*
That teacup story is adorable! I found it by some roundabout means a while ago and loved it. :) And we are all immensely grateful that you did! I'll admit I never look through Teaspoon stuff myself, so I'm sure I miss out on a lot unless people like you point me to it.
Have you seen the Amy-centric vid winninghearts did? It has the best twinkly music and really captures how magical the show can be. Ooo, I do love that one! I saw it a long while ago, but I'm quite happy to be reminded of it (I think she must have posted it somewhere else too, because I could have sworn I've commented on it.) Anyway, yes, delightful!
The consolation of my funk is that so many seem to be sharing it, or at least similar type funks. I do think it's a salvageable one, and I think it's been badly exacerbated by the break. As you say, this time last season things were rather ugly too, but we got a chance to move on and see how things developed. I will say that I rather like the big mysteries, but I wish the fun and magic hadn't been as buried as they seem to be. I hold out hope, though, that they are just burried rather than forgotten, and that we'll be seeing them again--"halfway out of the dark" and all that!
