Ah, see, I don't know the fic!meta context at all. I know meta from metanalysis journal articles (articles published entirely on data from other articles in science journals) and in a literature context, metaphysicality in texts. So, I figured this was the characters recognizing that they were characters in a tv show and sort of chatting about that and such.
