Second:
I've felt a bit left out of late, what with everybody and their mothers posting their reviews of the latest Harry Potter film. Having finally seen The Deathly Hallows, part one, therefore, I wish to share with you my considered, scholarly opinion of the Harry Potter franchise as a whole, both books and movies:

McGonagall <3 Adore her, especially in the books. Was tempted to add appendices for her. And Luna. And Neville. And . . . well, a great number of the characters who are not Harry, Ron, and Hermione. But concision is funnier.

Lupin does not need to hand out chocolate. Lupin is like chocolate all on his own.

Also: HP does need more Lupin (and Neville and Ginny and ...) because while Harry is my favourite we really don't need more Harry and variety is the spice of life and all that.

I fear he suffers from generic hero syndrome in my head. But Rowling has such a knack for creating memorable secondary characters :-)
