Found it myself--she's got a link on the vid page. Unless she did more somewhere else, but it seemed extremely thorough to me. Oh no, that's it.
The whole thing with Harriet Jones is just one of those 'you have got to be kidding me' things for me. I don't often feel the urge to strangle fictional characters . . . In a way I like that his greatest flaw (which led to his ultimate downfall) showed up so early, but it still doesn't make it OK...
By the end of JE, I think I was so delirious, I've completely forgotten that that happened. That makes me happy to know, at least. :)
I really do need to get around to watching Torchwood. Yes, yes you do. And you'll get to experience something develop from not-very good, through OK-but-still-crack, to zomg-masterpiece. I know RTD doesn't do much for you, but when he really tries, he's superb!
Mmmmm . . . yes, you are very right. Interestingly, she's a HUGE Doctor/Rose shipper, which means that she's not coming from a place of derision, but a place of love. And even so is able to step back and assess all the problems. I love that.
Also, her vid about Sherlock's coat always makes me massively happy. Vids about coats are automatically awesome!
Nothing will convince me that this is not cannon. Extraordinary, isn't it? I don't want it to be canon, because I like my happily-ever-afters, but oh, it's painfully plausible.
Oh, and I got to the library and picked up a few Peter Wimsey novels. I've only just started, but they do seem utterly charming. Wimsey sort of immediately took on the persona of Eleven in my brain, which is a not unpleasant sort of confusion to have going on. \o/ I am so very happy! Although Peter Wimsey is blond and posh and is very good at charming the ladies when he wants to. But yes - there is a certain quintessential Englishness to both of them that's unmistakable.
